Sadly, Great-Grandma passed away on Sept. 24th. Mommy misses her terribly and is so sad she won't meet my baby sister. Here is a picture from the last time she came over to visit about 2 weeks before she died.

1. I'm going to be a big brother to a little GIRL!!!

2. Mommy is about to use a shock collar on me because I keep running off and chasing people and cars, and pretty much anything. She just doesn't understand that I have to protect my little sister! But I know Mommy doesn't want to see me get hurt. She tried the neighbors collar on me the other day, and boy did I HATE IT!!!

3. Grandma and Grandpa Sussman are here this week, and Grandma Sussman was playing with me the other day. The secret is out - she likes me despite how much she protests!

4. My great grandma Gugenheim is turning 80 on Sat!!! Love you Great Grandma!

5. My mommy was a Golden retreiver and my daddy was a Labrador retreiver.

6. I have perfected the art of begging and getting attention from Mommy. She doesn't realize the voodoo mind tricks I play on her.

7. I secretly like cats - ok I like to chase them and all that, but that is fun!

8. I am so afraid of thunder and lightening!

I'm going to be a big brother!!!!

Mommy says I can finally tell all of you! I'm going to be a big brother at the end of Jan.!!! I think I'd prefer a dog brother or sister, but a human one is pretty cool too! This is what he or she looked like last week- Mommy says it is only a few inches big but it really looks real already!

July 4th fun

We went up to the lake for July 4th! We couldn't stay at Grandma's house because of the fire, but we stayed with their friends. They had a lot of cats! I've never stayed with cats before. One scared me, one ignored me, and I scared the pants off a third! I got to go swimming in the lake, take walks, and sleep a lot. Isn't vacation great?

Happy 2nd Birthday to me!!!!!

I turned 2!!! Can you believe it? Mommy certainly can't! Mommy gave me a few new toys to play with and of course, had to put the silly hat on my head before she'd let me have some doggy ice cream. That ice cream is so good that I put up with it. Mommy loves these first 2 pictures of me - I look so grown up!

Maybe I'm not so afraid of swimming!

Well, as I'm about to turn 2, I guess it is time for me to act like a big dog :) I REALLY impressed Mommy and Daddy with how far out I swam to retrieve tennis balls and my frisbee at Quiet Waters Park today. Quite a change from the first time they took me here! There were some other small puppies here so I figured I had to show them the ropes! After swimming we had a picnic of Popeye's chicken (which Mommy was nice enough to sneak me some of) - YUM! and then I played in the dog park for a little bit.
